1. Set big goals. Most article marketers think too small in terms of the amount of articles they want to get online. Determine that you are going to become a very successful article marketer and get a lot of content online.

The way to do this is increase the number of articles you are writing. The best way to write more is to put in place a system that allows you to become more productive.

For example, in my case I use the Dragon Naturally Speaking writing software. I can dictate my articles which allows me to get more articles done because I am such a poor typist.

I also use the service at Submit Your Article article which allows me to get more articles into more directories with the click of one button. These are just two things you could do that would help you increase your productivity.

2. Know your audience inside out. You wil be considerably more effective when you are targeting the audience are writing too.

Understand the needs and problems of your audience. Then write articles that address those needs and help them solve their problems.

If you are unsure exactly who are your audience is hang out in discussion forums and see what they are talking about. You can find discussion forums on almost any topic at Big-Boards.com.

3. Be original. Search engines are really paying attention to duplicate content. Not only should the content you write the original, but try and come up with unique article ideas.

Fresh articles are more valuable to search engines and to your readers. This takes a little more work on your part, but the payoff is worth it.

4. Start a blog. Take your articles and rework them into shorter blog posts. You can use re-writing software such as Rewrite Rocket to help you do this.

One way to benefit from blogging is to take 400 word articles and cut them in half. Change the keyword phrases and you can get more targeted traffic.

Bookmark all of your articles to social directories using a submission service such as Social Marker. This is a good way to get more backlinks to your blog as well as increase the number of readers for it.

Dominating article marketing starts with writing more articles that are interesting to your readers. Then get them submitted in as many ways impossible, including a blogging, and over time you will become a dominant force in your market.
